Loy Strasner

Loy Walton Strasner, son of Alvie and Susie Mae Strasner, was born March 17, 1920, and died August 30, 1998.  He is buried in El Reno, Oklahoma, but there is a memorial bench in Richland Cemetery which was dedicated to him.  He joined the Royal Canadian Air Force before the U.S. entered World War II, and was released to join the U.S. Navy when the U.S. declared war.  He had four daughters, Melanie Kim Strasner Wade, Loy Dianne Strasner Handley, Toni Devonna Strasner Radcliff, and Sue Ann Strasner, who died at six months of age and is buried at Richland.
