Alvie and Susie Mae Strasner

Alvie Audie Strasner, son of William Riley and Mary Elliott Strasner, was born May 17, 1892, and died October 4, 1959.  He was a veteran of World War I.  His wife, Susie Mae Garrett, was the daughter of J. Albert and Della Corbin Garrett.  She was born December 2, 1982, and died January 21, 1978.  Alvie served for many years as a deacon of Richland Baptist Church, and Susie Mae served as pianist.  Susie Mae was instrumental in founding the Richland Cemetery Association.  They had two sons, Alvie Jr. and Loy Strasner.
