Richard Taylor Shanks, son of John Frank and Henrietta Parkinson Shanks, was born May 12, 1939.  He had a twin brother, Robert Bruce Shanks, and an older brother, John Lee Shanks.  He married Glenda Butler.  They had two children, Stephanie Jalane and Jonathan Bruce Shanks.  He was a music teacher.  He died March 15, 2023.
