Rosemary Hooks

Rosemary Hooks, daughter of Lester and Mildred Brinker Hooks, was born August 4, 1939, and died February 14, 2021.  Her great-great grandparents, Samuel and Sarah Bromley, were Brinker’s first settlers.  Two of her great grandfathers, Smith Bromley and Bill Brinker, owned the two cotton gins in Brinker early in the twentieth century.  The community was named for the Bill Brinker family.
