Luna B. Mitchell, daughter of Henry Bascom and Laura Alabama Filya Mitchell, was born January 17, 1897.  She married Robert A. Allen, and they had two sons, Bascom and Ray.  Luna died during childbirth on September 13, 1927, and her baby is buried in the grave beside her.
